Love this idea! Very clever.

Does the Readme file automatically get updated (I noticed you request Github access), or does the developer manually add the sponsor?

Hi Marc,

The developer is completely responsible for adding the line of code to their README. We ask for permissions so 1) we can authenticate them, 2) get list of repositories and 3) pull stats on repos.

Regarding job listings, we agree. It's something we are starting to experiment with. I'll reach out to you.

@codesponsor Cool! Didn't realise this before, but @andreasklinger pointed out on Twitter that you're using a dynamically generated SVG image so you can change the advertiser on-the-fly without needing to update the code. That's smart!
