beame-gatekeeper

Zero-knowledge cryptographic identity services for mobile and iot

beame-gatekeeper allows authenticated, encrypted access to systems using the mobile device as primary ID or secondary authentication factor. This instantly makes on-premises software products accessible by adding HTTPS server functionality. There is no need for firewalls, nor DNS configuration.

How? We made a new breed of ID- cryptographic identity that lives on your mobile. And it's easy to put a super-secure crypto-ID on mobile and IoT devices. We never hold any of your keys. So the device can prove it has the right credentials without revealing them. No more sensitive databases! Inside: SSL certificate, matching private key, blockchain ledger, a proxy service.

Very cool. Will native apps be able to integrate this so the end user doesn't need your app too? We're building a voting platform @democ_io and thinking maybe this could help us enforce "one vote per person".
@andybex thanks for your question! yes, the app we provide is going to be available in several ways:
-using the application as-is from the app stores,
- with a customized skin,
-or as a dedicated framework for another app (SDK of the mobile application plus source code).

Regardless of how you use it, it allows the user to be recognized by providing proof of possession of a device’s cryptographic key without revealing it. The app (or the components of the app inside of your app) manages secure sessions and log out, multiple sets of credentials and their secure servers. The app is locked with a PIN code which is chosen by the user.

Please let me know if I can answer any other questions!
Sweet yeah the SDK option would be very useful for us though we're building on mobile web right now, not native. Nice work!
