I think this is an awesome concept! I am stoked to get access! I shared on FB & LinkedIn, aiming for that free flight! Best of luck gentlemen!
This looks great. I use dozens of formulas in my excel reports. I'd be interested in knowing what the limitations are for the program, as my algorithm typically breaks google sheets, and sometimes excel. Looking forward to trying it out!

Sounds good, @jaketruman! Calcapp is different from Excel in many respects. As such, it has limitations not found in Excel, but also features not supported by any spreadsheet. It's an app designer and not a spreadsheet, but one that has been designed for people used to spreadsheets and formulas.

For instance, Calcapp is not limited to calculating values to display to the user (cell values in Excel and field values in Calcapp). You can use formulas to determine many other things, such as whether a field should be visible, the e-mail addresses a report should be sent to and the color of a field. You can also use formulas to determine whether a button should be grayed-out and whether the user should be allowed to move on to another screen.

Calcapp supports 268 formula functions, of which 242 are also supported by Excel. Chances are that you'll be able to transfer many of your formulas as-is, even if they use advanced statistical or financial functions.

In terms of limitations, Calcapp doesn't (yet) work with data tables. As such, you can't use functions like HLOOKUP and VLOOKUP to find values. Small table look-ups can be expressed using the IF formula functions, but that quickly becomes impractical. Also, there is no support for graphs or saving data from an app to a database or to a spreadsheet. (Apps can e-mail data, though, in formats including CSV, which works well for importing data into databases and spreadsheets. There is also support for sending data to your own server, but that requires quite a bit of technical expertise.)

Are your spreadsheets large enough that Google Sheets and Excel break (meaning that your computer runs out of memory)? We've worked very hard to ensure that the apps you build with Calcapp consume as little memory as possible and can run on even low-powered cell phones. With that said, though, if your solutions are large enough that you break Excel and Google Sheets, chances are that you'll break Calcapp too. It hasn't been a concern for our community up to this point, though, and our users have definitely built apps I consider large.

Let me know if you have any other questions!
@Ram_Rayavarapu This is a great concept. One word of wisdom. Restrict users to only allow one heart per book. I theoretically could have moved the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People to the top of the list by continuously clicking the heart and waiting for it to move up a spot. Not that it should be assumed that people are going to be malicious, but I wouldn't want to see your metrics messed up because of the curiosity of people like me that tinker.
Jake, thank you for the good words. You are right, the users are currently allowed to hit like button unlimited times and it props the book position. This is actually a bug we are trying to fix. Also, this is our initial version of the product. We are working to establish the OAuth Login and Multiple CEO Recommender names, Favoriting the book to their profile and few more features.

May I know your favourite go to books website and do you have any insights on what additional value we should create to be your number one preference? We are not looking at million scattered users, instead focusing on gaining 1000 loyal customers.

Another thing we are doing some serious work is on our weekly newsletters. We are sending one newsletter every Thursday. We are exploring ways to deliver promising content the subscribers would love. If you are not subscribed yet, please do here at http://founderbooks.com. Any suggestions on how we can add additional value to our subscribers is much appreciated.

Below are some reasons why should you Signup to our newsletter:
o One new Book Recommendation by a successful CEO every Thursday
o The newsletter includes the Recommended Book Summary
o Tips on how to get access to Digital Stores to Read the Books for FREE
o Challenging Quizzes to test your knowledge on Books and Reading
o Automatically join to win the Free Goodies and T-Shirts
o Be nominated to our Readers Award of the year
Signup process is very easy. Dashboard is clean. I would have the following suggestions for possibilities down the road:

1. Partner with these sites to offer a discount to your users. This will provide an affiliate revenue stream for your company, and provide a value for your users.

2. This one may be a longer pursuit, but having Trello for example as my project management software, I wouldn't need other links, but maybe Trello embedded in your site after signing in, so I don't have to leave your dashboard. This repeated with all of your partners gives a place for your consumer to view all of their SaaS platforms in one place.

3. What is the difference between free, and standard (which is seen as free +) for pricing?

4. I see that your bookmarks are based more around operational structure. I can see my team using this most for R&D, where we break down each grouping by themes. Maybe having a "similar sites" feature to help me find more relevant links based on what I've already bookmarked. (You can down the road create a sponsored "similar site" where companies pay to be listed as a "similar site").

5. The "move" function asks me to "Select board in which you want to add the widget" but doesn't allow me to move the group anywhere. The drop-down is also blank.

6. This was probably on purpose? but in your notes section it says "write som notes" My slight-OCD would be greatly thankful if you changed it to "some" lol

I'm sure I can come up with more, but have to run!

Thanks,
Jake
@jaketruman Thanks so much for your feedback :)

The signup process is actually becoming even easier as we speak. With an option for individual users to just sign in with Facebook or Google!

1. Affiliate is a plan further down the line :)

2. This is absolutely our plan. Making it easy for you to integrate Trello or other SaaS that you use many times a day. Since i cant say i know of any SaaS that can do this. Tixio will make it easier for you to visually organize all your online tools and apps and share it with you team.

3. Well free is what you see now. Maybe not the wiki in the feature. All the larger new features will be in paid plans. But also all improvements like drag and drop to the bookmark widgets will also be to the free plan. The structure will be like Slack. But the next step for payment will not be that large. We are thinking 2 euro per user per month. So for now there only is free.

4. Nice idea :) Similar site can be a new feature :) Also we are planning to have an option to set up the chrome extention to bookmark to a specific widget.

5. Hmm... it works fine for me :) If you would like we could do a screen share, and have a look. I assume you have multiple board to move it to.

6. Will do :) The plan is to get someone to go over the hole page before launch

Best regards
Torstein
Hey Elemi, your website looks like it hit a snag. Let me know when its back up to view. Thanks!
@jaketruman Hi Jake Thanks, were completing some updates but it should be live to view now, let me know if there are any issues great thanks
Coo idea man! I signed up for the beta. Can't wait to try it.
I'm going to give it a try. I am a little nervous about the fact that the app can read all the information on any webpage I visit. How do I ensure that it's not lurking to steal private information?
I just got a "can't connect to K-Server, notify [email protected]" Will try to send email when possible.
Despite error message. The app was able to pull 12 e-mails for me. Pretty cool.
@jaketruman Problem with K-server is because we use a simple post for logging to kibana. The k-server is because you are probably on a very secure network that doesn't allow this kind of posts
@jaketruman Hi Jake, thank you for testing out Eyemail! In the near future, we will narrow down the chrome extension to be able to read content on Linkedin pages. We don't do anything else but I understand your concern!

Great looking site. Don't like that I have no idea how much it will cost. Unless its exactly what I need, if pricing is not listed, I assume its too expensive and look elsewhere.

Best of luck!
I use and LOVE this app. Great way to learn about trading!
How does the automatic investment get created?
Do you have the ability to serve U.S. customers with legal advice?
Looking forward to checking this out!
I like the concept, but the bot takes a while to load with each entry. I checked landbot.io and it appears its systemic to their platform. If it could be sped up a bit, I can definitely see myself using it more.

Great work so far!
@jaketruman the product is chrome extension, currently working on it at the moment. Do install and check it out.
Cool idea. If only I remembered to use IG more!
Cool concept, what makes you different than Buffer?
Hi Cyril,

The platform looks pretty cool! I'd love to find out more about your company and see if there are opportunities for us to discuss now or in the future. Shoot me an invite on LinkedIn or Twitter to share contact information.

Great idea. How do you gain content to distribute, and how do you clear your tracks?
Really interesting gentlemen. Congrats on this. Do you have any early adoption case studies or reviews from artists that have used it? Would love to connect on LinkedIn or Twitter to discuss further.
This is really cool. How have things been since launch? The site is very well designed, and it appears to really support music teachers and students. Great work!
Great concept, but seemingly very expensive. How do you compare to Fiverr bloggers where they will work for $20 an article?
Interesting choice of industry. How do you compare to the more traditional options like Staples and OfficeMax?
This is kind of cool. Only downsides are, no place to read about what I'm listening to, has a bit of lag between sentences, and stops playing a few seconds after you minimize the app.
@jaketruman Hi Jake, thanks for checking us out! We're working on the lagging issue and a fix is already on the way. The newest version 26 should be available to you by this evening. As for reading a full version of an individual article, you can do so by tapping the category (eg. Digital Products) itself which will take you to the publisher's website. Let me know at @sssaini_ if you have any questions. Love your feedback!
Cool idea. My biggest question being is there a large enough demand for a stand-alone service that'd pull people from FB and other sites. I like the connection to AirBnB, and the interactive checklist. As I'm not much of a socialite, I probably won't use, but best of luck with the launch!
Very intrigued. Signed up for early access. If I get a chance to review I'll come back and post another comment.
Signed up for the web version online.

Ups:
The signup process was clean
The possibilities of this platform are inspiring
The connectivity to other datasets your business use is exciting from complex integrations to finding your local chamber of commerce or accelerators for you. That's awesome.

Downs:
graphic interface I found a bit busy.
Setting up the company takes longer than expected
load times are slow-ish (but expected)

This certainly appears to be a "You get out what you put in" kind of service. If you aren't willing to put in the work to let the system work for you, you won't find much value in it. Then again, if you're trying to start a business without putting in the work, then I have a bridge I can sell you for a great price.

My only suggestion may be to break down the services offered in tiers. The complexity that established business endure don't exist in the same way for startups, so additional functionality may scare them off from trying it.

Great work guys, looking forward to seeing how this progresses.
@jaketruman thanks for the reply; your awesome suggestion made our team realize some errors and already making some adjustments.
